They would downplay their talent to make way for others, yet go above and beyond what most expected when it came to loyalty and strength. Few friends they had, but those who gained their respect always had a support to lean on. Acquaintances numbered in the double digits, and were always led to believe that they had their trust. Enemies few, though they did not even truly know of their combined hatred. Not one knew what they would do when challenged in the sport they loved.

The god of mischief Loki fell into the living room of a house in Truro, Cornwall hours after living a life of treachery, and eventually dying at the hands of his brother, the golden child on the fields of battle. In this house lives a girl. She is old. Much older than him, though they both remain looking like teenagers. But she holds her soul in her eyes and the stars in her hands. She is broken. And Loki, who never got a chance to care before, gives it a try, for the girl who is more destroyed than he ever was. But then he learns. She may be broken, but she isn't fragile.
