This collection traces my journey through the fragile and tangled years of teenagehood. Through each poem, you would get a glimpse of raw and unfiltered moments of love, heartbreak, loss, confusion and even hints of clarity. The title is more than just a name : it is a metaphor of growth and acceptance . Each year, each experience was a petal unfolding . Some were soft like teenage innocence while others were jagged, stained with blood, weathered by heartbreak and resilient in reaching. Some were glowing red under the eternal sunlight of euphoria while others were withered due to the droughts of insecurity and floods of pent up emotions . But together these roses compose the bouquet of my becoming. Erin is one of the best characters ever and I hate the way she was cut out, so I thought I'd give her the happy ending she deserves. Meaning, this story is Erin-centered, forget about any ship you already know. - Each chapter is named after quotes from Taylor Swift's "this is me trying" - shoutout to the queen xx - !!!: I don't own any One Chicago character, I just make them as happy as they deserve :) and I give them the friends and partners they need, who are characters that I own

This is basically a diary entry in third person, not going to lie it's not meant to spread happiness. We all have those bad days, where we cry ourselves to sleep every night and when that happens to me, these are the thoughts I have. I've come to the conclusion that You can't outrun the darkness in your mind at least for now. Hopefully, you don't relate to this.
