The summer following his junior year of high school was not looking great for Wilson Taylor. Firstly, after hiding it for years, he was outed as a Trans man, which, in this Texan town didn't earn him any respect. It only made him a target for bullying as well as the center of gossip for old people. Everybody hated him but his childhood best friend Bran, which leads us to his second issue. His embarrassing crush on him. It had been going on for as long as he had known Bran, and Bran was straight. He needed to make it go away. Brando Connell has always sort of hated himself. What's not to hate? He distanced himself from his parents because he couldn't handle being called sinful. He was quiet. He ignored his problems long enough to forget about them. And, most importantly, had been in love with Wilson Taylor for years. His future was not looking bright. Being gay in Texas was like personally offending everyone you walk past. Nobody could know that though, he was somewhat popular at school. He wasn't sure how that came to be, but he couldn't ruin it. He wouldn't ruin it. And, most importantly, he couldnt put poor Will through more than he already had been. ... What I think happened during and in between the wishbone trilogy music videos! This is a mlm, kinda slow burn story based on the 'This Song' Music Video by Conan Gray, it's not fully based on it, but I use key scenes and characters. I would HIGHLY recommend that you watch the mv first. Although that is optional. This story has 0 smu.t but there is some kissing. A few triggers! : Homophobia, Religion, Swearing, Bullying and a few other moments that may trigger people, but it's unlikely. So just read at your own risk (it shouldn't be bad). All and all everything should make a bit of sense if you've watched the music video. I'll update weekly! And it should be proof-read already so hopefully there isn't any spelling mistakes. This is a story inspired by the This Song music video. Wilson and Brando are childhood best friends and they are spending a month together in a lake house.
