After the events of Caramel, Wilson and Brando have to navigate their new life in California, away from the Texas scene. Facing trials and tribulations, discovering new parts about themselves and each other, all the while trying to maintain a healthy, happy relationship. The sequel to my previous fanfic (The Story- W+B forever?), do Bran and Wil have what it takes to love each other under all circumstances- that being long distance? Or in the presence of unloving parents? Just remember, it's not the end of the story...

The Thornfield's and the Scott's have always been close, ever since Mary met Laura back in high school all those years ago. However, their sons, Wilson Thornfield and Brando Scott, have never seemed to get along. Wilson always found Brando to be loud and obnoxious. Brando always found Wilson to be too quiet and snarky. And every year, like clockwork, both families go to the woods for their yearly Christmas getaway. One week, one lodge, two families. Brando and Wilson usually have an unspoken truth to stay out of each other's way. However, on the night that the adults go out to town for their annual night out, a snowstorm hits, preventing them from driving back. Cutting out the phone signals. Locking the boys inside. Together. With no technology. As secrets begin to unravel, truths get brought to life, and the hatred that guarded the boys slowly began to melt in front of the flickering flames.

A dumb mistake leaves Wilson glad he's moving away from his small Texas town. But unexpectedly he has to go back. Just for the summer. ⋆ Brando knew Wilson all his life. They were like brothers. However, when he hears Wilson is coming back he doesn't know what to do. ⋆ Filled with undiscovered love and the rush of one last summer could lead to anything.

This is a story inspired by the This Song music video. Wilson and Brando are childhood best friends and they are spending a month together in a lake house. They will learn to open up to the other, to talk about their feelings and to not be afraid to love. I'm Italian so I'm sorry if my english isn't perfect but I really wanted to write this in english. It's also my first fan fiction so please have patience🙏🏻 ‼️the characters of course aren't mine‼️ I highly recommend reading this after watching the music video because there are a lot of references and scenes from the video. byee<33
