A super-volcano erupts in the 22nd century, and the ensuing ice age devastates human culture. A hundred and three thousand years later, humanity has recovered, and science has advanced beyond mankind's ancient forebears. My first idea as an author was to write historically accurate fiction about little-known events, with a touch of humor and a bit of sarcasm, which led to Roland the Chronicler-The Louisiana Folly. I learned how challenging historical fiction is in the process of writing it. This is a rewrite of my original story. I hope you enjoy it.
