What if we go back to when Thomas was about to get hit by that broken piece in the ceiling by the collapsing compounds of WICKED? What if Teresa was still alive? Maybe even Newt. The Death Cure was quite sad, wasn't it? Here's a little change to the endings, and brand new beginnings.

The Maze was a simulation.

Scientists say that it is impossible for the brain to be so developed at such a young age. Actually, it is not. Take Michael Kearney, for example. Although he is nothing compared to us, he was the youngest person to graduate from college before the age of 11. His first word was spoken an hour after birth, and he was fluent in English at two months old. Therefore, surely it is not impossible for two children to be fluent in every known language at birth, as well as being telepathic. Teresa and Stephen were... unique. They were gifted- at birth. After they had grown a bit? Well, that's when it started changing.

Hello everyone! I read The Maze Runner Trilogy and decided to change the ending, which I disliked. The only changes are that Brenda sacrificed herself instead of Teresa, and Newt is immune. This story revolves around the Immunes' new life in Paradise. Everyone will have to face friends, challenges, significant others, and most importantly, come to terms with themselves. Edited in December 2020 for better readability, nothing major changed.

When Thomas finds a note that says that Teresa has escaped, all Thomas can think about is escaping WICKED and reuniting with Teresa. Escaping WICKED will be the fight of Thomas's life, and will be a fight that may be impossible to win...
