She travels to Downton Abbey as a guest of the Crawley family and she catches the eye of a cold hearted Footman. Will they fall in love? Will she change him for the better?

Elle (Ellie) Jones is an eighteen year old girl. After her mom gets sick and dies she goes to Downton Abbey along with her four year old sister to become a maid. When she gets there, she finds her old friend is a footman there, Thomas Barrow. Will they be as close as they where again? Or will they become more than friends? Refusing to abandon him, Baxter persuades Thomas to seek help from Doctor Clarkson, who treats the poisoning caused by the injections and helps nurse him back to health. As Thomas slowly recovers, an unexpected friendship blossoms between two people who know what it means to carry painful secrets and live under the weight of past mistakes. Their friendship deepens into something neither of them anticipated. Thomas is left questioning everything he thought he knew about himself. Can a man who has spent his entire life believing he could only love other men find himself falling for the one woman who never tried to change him? I've been re-watching Downton abbey and have some ideas for some stories
