Two girls were born on the same day to mothers who were best friends. They grew up being best friends for life when they got separated. The sun became bigger and attacked the earth with scorching rays of sunlight. Burning the earth to a crisp. After the sun, a virus spreader across the world. They called it the "Flare". Desperate, the mothers gave up their daughters to a organisation, called "W.C.K.D", dead Center on finding a cure. Next moment they wake up in a box together, will they survive? Or will the pressure collapse around them?

The Sovereignty uses The Trials, brutal annual events designed to keep the population in check, as a means of maintaining control. These trials are a gladiatorial-style combat, testing not just physical strength and survival skills, but also mental endurance and loyalty to the Sovereignty. Each year, young people, man and woman, from different districts, known as Candidates, are randomly selected to participate in a massive arena known as a seemingly natural environments that were actually under strict control by the Gamemakers filled with dangerous creatures, treacherous traps. Only one Candidate can survive, and the prize is a chance to "earn" a place in the elite ruling class of The Sovereignty-or, at the very least, a chance to survive for another year.

You don't know who you are, where you came from, or how you got here, all you know is that you have to survive. Of course this is easier said than done, between fighting monsters, understanding who you are and earning your place in the glade you'll find yourself forming a special bond with a group of boys, all of you looking for ways to keep living. ----------- I'm not good with descriptions it's basically a Thomas x reader.
