The only thing known is that magnums red Ferrari was found on the road abandoned it looked like he could've been runoff the road but they were never able to determine conclusively weather or not he was runoff the rode. some people believe he was murder, others believe he walked away to start a new life but not Emma she believes something more sinister happened and that he is still alive either running for his life or is being held captive. with the locket he gave her around her neck and the keys to the Ferrari in her hands nothing is going to stop her from finding out what really happened to her dad and prove to everyone he's alive and bring him home.

Thomas's little sister moves to the island with him and makes a new friend. It turns out that new friend is the son of Detective Katsumoto. Let's see that friendship blossom.

And then the two cross paths with Private Investigator Thomas Magnum, former MI6 agent and now majordomo Juliet Higgins and their friends and suddenly Yasmin has a whole lot of interesting stories for her novels. Katsumoto just has a lot of headaches.
