This is a story retold in my own way, based off the Maze Runners series written by James Dashner. This is also the first story. Follow Athena and the Gladers as they learn the truth of the Maze, the dangers of memories, and how the place they called home once is a death sentence. In a world where the sun has scorched the earth and the Flare has resulted in mass destruction, will the Maze provide the very people who could save humanity?

Thomas and the other gladers just arrived at their new destination, their so called paradise. Thomas still being anxious about the death of his friend, Newt. Memories and thoughts chasing him he just wants nothing more than living happily. But there is this one thing, reminding him of everything, constantly: Minho. His one and last friend, he wants to hold dear, but the guilt is killing him, whenever he looks into his eyes. Plus there is this one feeling, he just can't understand... //Taking place just after the end of The Death Cure. My first English fanfiction, so please be patient with me <3 I'm german, so it could (possibly) be, that there are some grammar mistakes ;_;
