After everything, Teresa makes it to the Safe Haven alive. But surviving is easier than facing the damage she left behind. As the group tries to adjust to a life without mazes, trials, or WICKED, Teresa works to repair the fractures between herself and the others, especially Thomas. Old wounds don't heal overnight, and trust isn't given freely. Still, on an island meant for second chances, she's determined to earn hers.

After studying millions of young warriors and scholars, Thomas, Newt, and Minho are chosen as the next royal guardians by the five world power Leaders. These three boys were chosen based upon their academics and their fighting skills to be guardians of the nation's beloved princesses; Teresa Agnes, Sonya Agnes, and Harriet Agnes. They are task on protecting these young princess from the Royal family's long-life enemies: the Immortal Hunters. These people are heartless killers. Murdering and destroying any town and anybody they come across too. What makes them more dangerous is the fact that they're Immortals themselves. Upon the tragic accident of the King and Queen, the Immortals Hunters will stop at nothing for the throne. They won't stop until they kill every last of the princesses. Luckily Thomas, Newt, and Minho are also immortal, allowing them the advantage to beat and fight the Immortal Hunters as well. Their mission was suppose to protect the princesses, not to fall in love with them. Everyone knows that an immortal can't touch a human being or kiss them because any exchange of DNA or touch of skin can make the human and immortal die. A sequel to the death cure. Takes place right after the death cure. What if Thomas wakes up and finds out everything was a lie? What then? The final trial is the toughest one for Thomas and his friends.

Thomas and the other gladers have made it to the safe haven. But Thomas can't seem to forgive Teresa after death. They soon find out that their paradise isn't always what it seems.

One by one, their friends are vanishing, but who and why is kidnapping them? And Teresa feels that Thomas us keeping a secret from her...something that will change their love story FOREVER. And most importantly, they found out that WICKED was not created to find the cure, but for something else...

Because of its recent gain in popularity for some reason, I'm planning on doing a rewrite of this that is longer and more true to the characters. First chapter probably won't be up until sometime in July 2022 because of work and deadlines and it will have a different name, but yeah :) Spoilers for 'The Death Cure'! *** All rights belong to James Dashner!
