Thomas is taken by WICKED after the last city is burned to the ground. Held in a new area where no one is allowed in or out he is tested on and used relentlessly to produce a cure to the deadly flare virus, an after effect of the sun flares that have ravaged the earth. Also in this facility is Teresa, carrying a secret no longer a secret. While WICKED uses her and her child to threaten Thomas, the two of them must try to figure out how to escape their hell, and repair a family that has been broken from the beginning.

Takes place after the movie adaption of The Scorch Trials. ---------------------------------------------------- When Thomas returns to destroy what is left of WCKD and fulfill his promise to one of his best friends, he only faces one problem. After everything, Teresa makes it to the Safe Haven alive. But surviving is easier than facing the damage she left behind. As the group tries to adjust to a life without mazes, trials, or WICKED, Teresa works to repair the fractures between herself and the others, especially Thomas. Old wounds don't heal overnight, and trust isn't given freely. Still, on an island meant for second chances, she's determined to earn hers.

Thomas and Teresa have been working at WICKED for almost three years. When a turn of events happens in the maze Thomas snaps and finally decides it's time to get out. As they try to decide on a way out, a plan practically falls in their laps. They will go up into the maze themselves. But do they really want to go through the process of losing their memories? Especially the ones they have made together.

We all know the story of Teresa from The Maze Runner, what she did and her fate. What if she never died. What if there was more to her story. This is my take on the Maze Runner and its ending. For the Thomesa shippers out there ;)

Because of its recent gain in popularity for some reason, I'm planning on doing a rewrite of this that is longer and more true to the characters. First chapter probably won't be up until sometime in July 2022 because of work and deadlines and it will have a different name, but yeah :) Spoilers for 'The Death Cure'! *** All rights belong to James Dashner! Based on the ending scene with Thomas and Brenda, what if something else had happened? What if Newt and Teresa came back from the dead somehow?

What if Teresa's death hadn't happened? What if Newt had escaped along beside the group? What if the last thing Thomas saw before running to paradise was Brenda, crushed by the rubble? I'm not James Dashner (a shocker, I'm sure), and therefore don't own any of his characters/concepts. Pls don't sue me mr maze runner.

A sequel to the death cure. Takes place right after the death cure. What if Thomas wakes up and finds out everything was a lie? What then? The final trial is the toughest one for Thomas and his friends.

Thomas, Teresa, and Brenda are best friends. Teresa has always thought of Thomas as something more, but she's too scared to find out if he feels the same. She doesn't know if things will change for the better, or for worse. Brenda thinks she's in love with Thomas, so she asks for Teresa's help to get her man. Teresa becomes jealous, but still supports her friends. "Do they still support me," she always asks herself.

Thomas and a few of his friends survived the trials. The real challenge now, is to survive the depression. All he can think about is her, the one he loved, and the one who sacrificed herself for him. Teresa.

Hello everyone! I read The Maze Runner Trilogy and decided to change the ending, which I disliked. The only changes are that Brenda sacrificed herself instead of Teresa, and Newt is immune. This story revolves around the Immunes' new life in Paradise. Everyone will have to face friends, challenges, significant others, and most importantly, come to terms with themselves. Edited in December 2020 for better readability, nothing major changed.

Teresa never died in the rubble.She was moments away from dying but WICKED spared her and sent her to paradise letting Teresa live.But does Teresa even want to live?No because every hates her since she is a "trader" and after a murder in paradise,Teresa gets the blame.There going to kill her,so she runs away.She never did the crime anyway,or did she? Also Newts alive too with a friend.

Events take place after The Death Cure book! What if Teresa is alive but Brenda's dead cause' she saved Thomas from the ceiling that fell down when the right arm stormed WICKED Headquarters? And the flat trans hadn't led the gladers to the "safe place"?
