The maze was starting to close. But Minho and Alby weren't back yet. Before Newt knew it, Thomas ran into the maze right before it closed. Newt feels horrible... He lost his two best friends. But somehow Newt also misses Tommy.

Malia... that was the only thing that I remembered when I first came up in the box, my name. But later on, the memories started coming in. The most frustrating thing about it? I couldn't see them clearly, and i only heard the voices, but I somehow knew they were my memories of when I wasn't in the maze yet. There was this one voice that stood out from the others though, it was Gally's. The guy who always finds a way to be the most annoying person to exist... or so I thought. ---------------------------------- When Malia was first sent up to the box, everyone's been rendered speechless. Speechless because of her being a girl, and being the first to knock out the scary Gally only minutes after coming out from the box. Fitting in was a difficult task but she soon made friends and life became good. She couldn't deny that Gally was very familiar and the feeling that just kept pulling her to him. But the day a very familiar face showed up in the box was the day she knew that things would change. She became determined to get out of the maze as soon as she learned from Thomas that there was a way out. Will Gally be able to stop her? Or will he swallow his pride and follow her? This is a fanfiction of the famous Maze Runner movie and I do not own any of the characters except Malia, Kennedy, Lara and Fred. All credits goes to James Dashner, the author of the original book. This story follows the storyline but with a few plot twists, plus some parts of my story may not be suitable for the audience, but I will try my best as it is my first time writing a book. In the middle of the night Talia mysteriously wakes up in the maze, her only memory is a boy's face; she doesn't know anything about him. The runners find her the next day and when she returns to the glade with them, she finds the boy. [All the characters are like in the first book, only Teresa isn't there. Talia is portrayed as Crystal Reed as on the cover]

"Please, Tommy. Please." With his heart falling into a black abyss, Thomas pulled the trigger. ___________________________________________ "Thomas, we need your brain." Thomas heartbeat sped up to rattling thumps in his chest. "However, as always we need a control, we need something to compare your brain to, to find out why your immune and not others" the rat mans face stayed the same while he spoke. "Who's the other candidate?" Thomas asked hesitantly. Janson nods his head to the other scientists and the door behind him opens. Thomas doesn't believe his eyes when he sees who walks in. Newt, a geeky blonde boy is told he is moving to a bigger, better place. They call it New Haven. Thomas, a sporty jock, is completely unaware on the huge effect this boy will have on his life. But will Thomas be able to admit it? Will Thomas be able to admit that tearing Newt apart is not what he really wants?

When Evangeline wakes up earlier than usual in the box she occupies herself, leading to meeting a strange boy in a weird way. Friendships form but how many are actually there for her? Enemies. Friends. And lovers? {DUN DUN DUUUUUUUN

(NOTE: CONTAINS SPOILERS) Thomas had always stared at Newt behind the screens of WICKED. When Newt was sent up, he gave up all hope of ever seeing him again. As things got worse, however, Thomas was tasked to go up to the Glade himself. But every cloud has a silver lining.
