We were gunna call it newtzie but made the joke about how mcnewt sounds like a maccies burger so went with that. Mcnewt. I'm writing this for the sake of me being bored and to have all this in detail. But if you want to read it then sure : While Thomas was one tool. Mckenzie was another. Ava's. Of course she didn't want Thomas dead like her work partner Janson did. So she needed another voice... A way to keep Thomas alive. She needed. Mckenzie. A boy who was going to get disgarded by Janson. But the women thought she could save the boy. And the boy could help save the others. Of course she had no define reason to make sure he stayed alive. There wasn't anything she could do once she sent him up. Right? She found herself making a deal. With another boy she use to know... A boy who was ripped away from his brother and thrown into the scorch once he was announced useless to wckd. That boy was casey. Mckenzie's twin brother. Casey was merely a mune. But he lived in the scorch. He was taken in by jorje, ava still had cumunicational access to him. Using him, she found out more about the flare, she got personal information from the boy. All the boy asked in return was the safety of his brother.

A year into being in the maze, a TV and a set of tapes are sent up to the gladers, showing them moments of their life before, and what they have to get back to.

“Thomas?! Tommy! Thank goodness, are you alright love? I thought you were never going to wake up!” The blonde boy hugged Thomas, crying in relief. When he pulled away, Thomas stared at him, panic slowly showing in his eyes. He looked around wildly at his surroundings and back at the blonde boy. “Where am I? Who are you?” Everyone knew Newt and Thomas are together, or at least they WERE together. Thomas got injured in the maze while protecting Minho and lost a lot of blood. He woke up, 2 weeks after the incident and cannot remember anything. AGAIN.

The last thing I remember was my body hitting the ground. I open my eyes to see a blinding white light, and then he's standing there. Newt. And he was smiling. He looked as if he was the happiest boy alive; like he had never been broken. "Welcome to heaven, Tommy," smirked Newt, "took you long enough to get here."

When Minho finds out the truth about how Newt died, he takes out his rage on Thomas and discovers a shocking fact about himself.

The Trials are over. They're safe. At least, that's what Minho had hoped - But when he and Thomas come to live with Thomas's long lost twin brother, Stiles Stilinski, in Beacon Hills, he quickly realizes that's wishful thinking.
