Si Mary Jane ay isang normal na mag-aaral, hindi mayaman pero dahil sa ibinibigay na voucher ng gobyerno nakapag aral siya sa isa'ng private school at dahil na rin sa kanyang katalinuhan nakapasok siya sa scholarship na ipinapamahagi ng paaralan para sa mga kapos palad na mag-aaral kaya hindi siya nahihirapan sa mga bayarin. Ulila si Mary Jane sa ina dahil iniwan na sila nito nung sanggol pa lamang siya, may nakakabata siyang kapatid sa kanyang ina. Lima sila'ng mag ka-kapatid ngunit dahil sa sakit ng kanyang nakakatandang kapatid ito ay pumanaw. Si Mary Jane ang bunso sa mag-kakapatid, dahil na rin ata siya ang bunso siya ang laging napag-iinitan. Pero hindi inaasahan ni Mary Jane na may magu-gustuhan siya sa paaralang kanyang pinasukan. She always ask herself, bakit kaya niya nagustuhan yung lalaki'ng yun? hindi naman siya pinapansin nito, baka nacha-challenge lang siya? Mapapansin niya kaya nito si Mary Jane? P'wede pa kaya lumalim yung nararamdaman ni Mary Jane? O pagtapos din ng taon sa Senior High e' mag ta-tapos na din ang nararamdaman niya?
