After Askelad's death, Thorfinn is killed while trying to kill King Canute. However, his fate takes a turn, will he let go of his endless quest for revenge or remain vengeful.

After meeting a Fatal-End at the hands of Mercenaries,Thorfinn finds himself in a strange Looking place,he couldn't really call it a village,it was far too big,and not like any village he's seen before. The language was different too. It sounded like English,but it wasn't the English he knew. But terrified him the most,was the technology. Buildings that pierced the heavens,and Metal carriages and Horses that roared down the roads. He wasn't sure how he got here,but one thing was certain he was going to survive and find what this place was.

A small Viking village is being terrorized by a Sea Monster they call Drekei. They call upon the one man who can help them, the one man who they know will rid them of this terrible monster, Thorfinn Bloodaxe. I wrote this for my AP English class. It was a summer reading project where we read Dr. Jykle and Mr. Hyde and Frankenstein and had to create a monster and write a story about the said monster.

Being a prince is a hard job and it's even harder when people think you're not of royal blood. Thorfinn proves himself over and over again though it seems he can't win his father's love or people's love. On a trip to a sacert city to gain the object of a God is when Thorfinns life changes forever and he meets Askeladd. Everything Thorfinn thinks and thought he was is broken right in front of him. Two variants of Norn stories would be shown here, one for Gruoch and another for Macbeth. 3.Neither Nigel Tranter nor other sources could explain the origin of Clan MacDuff. Here I take the opinion that Clan MacDuff is an offshoot of Clan MacAlpin but was excluded from succession to the throne for their ancestor's illegitimacy. 4.The basic principle for a historical novel, play or other forms of adaptation of historical stories should be based on the principle of "fill the blanks with reasonable imagination while keeping historical accounts intact", and this story follows the principle. 5.Modern Scottish Gaelic with archaized names are extensively used in the story.
