When I read the aforementioned story by Nathalie_95, I began to wonder what might happen after the BOTFA and Thorin and the central character become betrothed. Bilbo was away from the Shire and Bag End running an errand that Gandalf sent him on, so he had to leave his husband, Thorin, his young cousin Frodo, and the other Dwarves for week and a half. However, when he came back, he was horrified to find that Thorin was different. He was no longer the caring and kind husband and king he fell for. Now, he was cold, angry, and almost downright heartless. He, along with the other dwarves fears the worst for their king. Has his gold sickness returned to reclaim him, or is it something else worse entirely, and best of all, can Bilbo get his loving husband back?
