Long before the War of the Ring, when dragons still slept and dwarves dreamed of gold, there walked in the North a ranger known only as Strider. Few knew her name, and fewer still her blood. Alysanne, daughter of Arathorn and Gilraen, has lived years in the wilds, guarding the borders of the North while hiding from the shadow of her own destiny. As the firstborn of Isildur's line, she is the true heir to the thrones of Gondor and Arnor - yet she believes herself unworthy of the crown that cost her ancestors their souls. When Gandalf the Grey finds her among the lonely hills, he brings with him a summons she cannot ignore: a company of thirteen dwarves, a hobbit, and a quest to reclaim a stolen homeland. Reluctantly, Alysanne joins them, her path entwined with Thorin Oakenshield's - another heir burdened by pride and loss. Through mountain storms, goblin tunnels, and dragon fire, Alysanne will be tested not only by sword and shadow, but by the very legacy she fears to claim. As friendship blooms and loyalties are forged in peril, she must decide whether she will remain a wanderer in exile... or rise as the queen she was born to be.

Thorin Oakenshield has lost it all. His home, his family, his kingdom and the love of his life. He has no one, apart from his two young nephews and his little sister. Thorin lives a life of solitude and hard work, alone in his house in Ered Luin. Hazel is alone, scared and traumatised. Her life in the orphanage is hard, she is bullied and verbally abused on a daily basis. And no one seems to care. No one, apart from Thorin Oakenshield himself. Can one little girl save the dwarf king from himself? And can he help her recover from her dark past? Notes: There are some mature themes in this story, I am sorry if it offends anyone, please do not read if you don't think you can cope with it. This story does deal with alcoholism and abuse but I will warn at the start of chapters that contain this content. The character of Hazel belongs completely to @The_Hells_Angel. I'm sorry if Thorin is a bit out of character, I had to make him a little less grumpy

"The things we love destroy us every time, lad. Remember that." Fairies are one of the oldest race of beings in Arda -once they called Numenór home- but Arethusa watched as the sea claimed the island from the helm of a ship as the survivors fled to Middle Earth. She has wandered for several lifetimes and has seen nearly all there is. Long had she set aside her bow and sward for, in truth, a healer's hands see more blood than a warrior's. Over the years, she had grown to love the ways of hobbits and there is no hobbit she adores more than Bilbo Baggins. When her visit is interrupted by a band of uncouth dwarves and her dear friend goes running out his door on an adventure what can she do but follow? Araya is a Hera. You're all probably thinking so she is a goddess with a funny name (like Hera in Greek mythology). No. A Hera is a powerful creature of many races and is usually female (kind of like a goddess I suppose). They are part elf, part dwarf, part fairy, part siren, part human and part dragon. Araya accepts a letter to go on an adventure with Gandalf, a hobbit and a band of Dwarves. On this adventure, she meets for the first time in a few years the almighty Thorin Oakenshield and whisked away on a journey full of happiness, fun and maybe even LOVE

This work is a compilation of oneshots I think of occasionally; mostly dynamics between two or more characters- though I do try to keep their energies as accurate as possible. Some pieces just exist for the sake of existing, and there may be self inserts here and there for the sake of the plot. If you have any prompts/suggestions, feel free to leave a comment!

IN WHICH; Varda Baggins always believed she was a simple hobbit - a Took by spark, a Baggins by name. But when the ruby ring her father left her begins to awaken with ancient power, the truth rises from the shadows. Half Hobbit, half of the race of Men, Varda is the last heir of a forgotten Númenórean kingdom - the Kingdom of Nimrathor, home to the White Riders. Her father, once a king, passed down a ring uncorrupted by darkness, its bright ruby burning the flesh of orcs and all things evil. And with it, a hidden prophecy tied to her blood. Joining Gandalf and thirteen dwarves on their dangerous quest, Varda steps beyond the Shire and into a world of enemies, legends, and destiny. Beside Thorin Oakenshield, the storming heir of Durin, she discovers unexpected courage, rising love, and a fate far greater than she ever dreamed. As ancient shadows stir, Varda must embrace her true heritage, wield the ring only she can command, and face the prophecy of the last heir of the White Riders. A story of hidden lineage, quiet strength, rising love, and a destiny too big for a hobbit's doorstep.

The Company of Thorin Oakenshield is joined by another member, outside of the usual tale. Half a hobbit, half a dwarf, all the stubborn pride of her people. Thirteen and a half dwarves, one and a half hobbits. What an interesting Company. "All it takes is for Oin to be hurt, and you will not have a healer. Not a proper one." Mathilda looked Thorin dead in the eye, her heart racing, but her voice remaining smooth, even. "I will be of use."

Paephan was the first of her kin is now the last. They were tasked to keep their oath until their death. Her oath is to keep the line of Durin alive. She joins Thorin and the others in their quest to reclaim Erebor. Little note: so in an interview, Richard Armitage said Thorin is 5'2 Paephan is taller him, like 5'3. As for her physical appearance. There are two things I wanted to stay the same. That her body shape is that of an elf and her wings are gold. As for hair, eyes, skin etc. You can imagine her how ever you wish. Paephan does belongs to me. Everyone and Everything else belongs to J.R. Tolkien

In the oncoming threat of a calamity, the Greater Magic will respond. No matter where, even if the calamity is far from its influence, it will respond. Gandalf knows this. Elrond knows this. Galadriel, Thranduil, and Saruman know this. But those who know the legend expected something more. Something that wasn't a redheaded spearman who seemed to be just a Man. Aka: Li has one goal and that's to fight a dragon. He did not count on having to protect a bunch of Dwarves in the process. (xposted on ao3 and FFN)
