Because not everyone wants to read multi-chapter fics, here are some shorter stories to introduce you to The Warrior and The King. Some of these were inspired by writing challenges, some were imagines, all take place between the longer works.

The dwarf king naturally wants the she-elf gone despite his kin's infatuation. The woman refuses for personal reasons and her goodwill. Can he change his opinion about an entire race or will nothing change?

How can one go through so much pain one can wonder. Talissa has gone through so much loss and pain. Nothing good ever happens so what's there to lose. Sam's old problem with post traumatic stress resurfaces after years of calm. Much is in store for the girls and company so stay tuned. This is the sequel to Adventures Of The Sad, Broken, and Happy.

"How did I get here? How could I have let this happen?" I whisper to myself. Blood is everywhere so much blood too much. Orc blood mixes with elven, goblin, dwarvish, man, and *gulp* hobbit blood. Everything is dying I can feel it. Everywhere the blood falls the grass dies. The life leaves it along with the life of who the blood belonged too. The sun is red blood red. It's an evil day. A day of mistakes and regrets. But I can make a final stand I won't let Erebor fall. I won't let father fall. Evil will not prevail not on this day. As long as I can help it.
