As young hobbits, Y/n and Bilbo Baggins were closer than anyone could imagine. Obsessed with the idea of leaving The Shire, planning adventures, and already getting themselves into trouble. As they aged into adults, their sense of adventure diminished and they turned themselves into respectable hobbits. Their lives were simple and every day was the same as the last. On a sunny Tuesday morning they were interrupted by the most unlikely creatures. A wizard who, little did they know, would turn their lives upside down. They soon find themselves in the company of Thorin Oakenshield. Now their world has changed and they must do whatever is possible to survive. Disclaimer: I do not own any of The Hobbit characters. I have always loved my life, but for some reason wanted more. There was one thing I seemed to lack, was spending time with friends, most being busy always. So I spent most of my time alone on my interests. Till one day I was left with nothing.

Y/n is the lost princess of the River Ash kingdom. That was lost in battle and so were the towns people along with their king and queen. Nothing and no one was left from the River Ash kingdom to be found either was the castle. All was left was her and her companions, Accalia and Keithia. She lived in the woods in darkness and despair, until she met Thorin and the Company.

I know it's fun to pretend to be the hero, to be impressively gifted, because how else could you win the heart of Prince Charming? Well, what if just you could be enough. This is a story with a message very alike the message of the original Hobbit book, and even The Lord of the Rings. This is a story about how an ordinary person can be extraordinary. (Occasional profanity and some violence.) I occasionally go back into previous chapters and edit things to fit the future plot, so if something isn't adding up I probably changed it in an earlier chapter.

Y/N has tried to bring Thorin out of his darkness but he refuses to believe he will become like his grandfather. War is coming and the company is thrust into battle and Thorin must overcome this darkness and fight in the war or he will lose everyone... Can Y/N save him?
