There is a photograph of a little girl standing in a grocery store. The problem is that she feels like a stranger. And that's impossible. I've shared every heartbeat she's ever had. Every birthday. Death is not always a funeral. Sometimes it is a person you trusted. Sometimes it is the version of yourself that you no longer recognize. It's untimely. abrupt. slow. and always closeby. *The topic is Death* is a collection of confessions that both soothe and unsettle me. These poems explore the beauty and horror of survival - the things that burn us immediately, and the things that consume us drop by drop. Some deaths leave a body. Others leave a person who must learn how to breathe again.

I inherited the ability to write poetry from my mother who cultivated the ability in me growing up. This is a new book made up of random poems I have written. I plan to keep adding to it so if your interested in poetry, I hope you enjoy them. There is a little bit of everything, so Im sure you'll find something you like. ;) This was previously titled "Unspoken Words", due to a number of books by the same title within the sae genre, I ade the choice to change the title. I may decide to change it once ore when I settle on a title I more pleased with.

Over the course of the last two years, I've watched through all of the CW's TV show, Arrow, and can I just say... Wow, is it amazing! Honestly, almost every character is interesting in their own right, especially if you add on the fact of how top-notch the show's actors and actresses are. So, I've decided to create a collection of retellings of some of my personal favorite scenes from the series (with some ones that are just awesome thrown in the mix, of course :) For anyone who reads them, I hope they bring you joy and comfort amid the problems we all face during everyday life.
