After Jules Milone is crowned queen after Catharines death she tries to have a child to continue her line and she after years of faliure she ask Arisone to do the task for her, Arisone successful delivers a baby Boy. It cause scandal but people believe it a sign of a new era on Fennbrin, not only that he is also legion cursed with the poisoner and sight gift. A year later Jules gives birth to a daughter and dies. her daughter Madrigal(after her mother) is born a naturalist. People want her to be crowned but others want the royal line restored. They decide to go back to the old ways and have another Ascension Year to see who is the stronger one. Her life and reign served to amplify the poisoner gift once she won her crown, yet it was not strong enough to preserve her from the pain of childbirth that eventually took her life. They drag suitors, citizens, priestesses, and Black Council members into their quarrels, and they all end up dead. War queens come back to power. And after a while, the citizens grow tired of it. They don't dare rise up against the queen. But a secret society, a group who's more tired of it then the rest and call themselves the One Queen Union, have a wish to form just that union-- one queen. Bears one child. No battles. No deaths. And no getting caught by that year's queens until the time is right. Until they can find someone smart enough, strong enough, and capable enough to take down three queens and become the ruler of the land to form the One Queen Union. There will be no more dark queens.
