Being royalty hasn't been easy these days, but I always do my best. Most days, I believe that I truly have what it takes to be a great King. With the support of my friends and family, I grow more confidence in myself and it encourages me to keep doing my best to if I want to be a ruler that the Kingdom of Havendale can believe in and look up to. However, things are about to take a turn for the worst as Shrek, who's been longing for the old days when he was feared by many, signs a deal with the devious Rumpelstiltskin. As a result, I end up getting separated from my family and we end up getting thrown into an alternate universe where Rumpelstiltskin rules Far Far Away with an army of witches at his disposal. Ogres are hated and being hunted down, no one knows who Shrek is since he never existed here, and Shrek will die in a day's time. If that wasn't bad enough, Havendale has even been taken over by an army of raiders led by the man who I believed we would never worry about ever again. Can we undo the magic of the contract, find a way out of this hellish timeline, and restore our happily ever after? Determined to get all of these fairy tale creatures off of his land, the ogre decides to pay a visit to the evil lord responsible for this whole mess, while also being accompanied by a talking donkey. I have no idea what's going on, but it feels like this is a situation that could require my help! Will we be able to succeed in helping the ogre claim back his swamp? So, they, along with me, Conan, and Orion tagging along for the trip, head off to Princess Fiona's birthplace which is, as the name implies, far, far away. Upon arriving, it seems that maybe we're not in for a warm welcome as we thought we were. And funny story, it turns out that we weren't the only people invited. Princess Naomi and her parents were also invited here as well! Believe it or not, but ever since stopping Alastor and restoring peace to Havendale, I've been... thinking a lot about her. Will Shrek be able to sort things out with Fiona's parents? Will I be able to discover my true feelings for Naomi? So this is a fractured fairy tale on Three Little Pigs, but the wolf is the main character and he's not a bad person. The Pigs are rude and they just left high school. The story is based in P.E.I and the wolf forgot to buy a very important ingredient in the recipe for lunch. So he goes knocking on the Pigs doors, but he never gets the answer he want until he stops at the fourth house and puts those piggies in their places. So yeah I hope you like it!

Update: I have chosen to call this book "Prodigal" for the time being. The main character is Henry Woods (think Hansel from Hansel and Gretel, but grown and trained into a Roland Deschain kind of badass huntsman). Despite his unmatched tactical prowess and combat skill, though, Henry often falls prey to his own nostalgia and finds himself in compromising situations that he must fight or talk his way out of. His twin sister, Greta, has been presumed dead since childhood, and he has returned home in search of answers regarding her death, only to find the realm of his birth on the brink of economic collapse and civil war. I have a pretty good start on this and I know how I want the story to end, but the path from A to Z is still a long and fuzzy one, so I welcome any help from the community on where to go next.
