The table held a miscellany of oddities. A clay teapot, a long-stemmed crystal sugar bowl, a metal case studded with colorful stones, and a fancy lamp which took one straight to a tale of a Thousand and One Nights. Dave looked about, taking in the restaurant. The opposite box was occupied by a pretty blonde, rubbing away at an old kettle with all her might. Dave saw a good-looking man approach her table. He wore a red vest, blue baggy pants and curled-toe yellow slippers. A white turban sat on his head. The young woman abandoned polishing the vessel as soon as the man appeared at her table. Now, Ali lives on the streets, stealing food whenever she can get it with the aid of her most loyal companion, a monkey the size of half a loaf of bread named Abu. Hated by the city guards and rejected by the city of her birth, she lives in the shadows, hiding away the girl that she used to be. After she meets a mysterious boy in the marketplace (and having a wild adventure involving a few too many palace guards), Ali is given a choice by the Sultan's Grand Vizier: help him rob a tomb that has been sealed for over ten thousand years, or rot in the palace dungeons.

Opposite attracts. And I guess that's true because I and Blaze are the living proof of it. Our names are the exact contradiction of who we are. He's Blaze yet he's cold. And I'm December who's full of sunshine. He needed my warmth and I wanted to get burnt with him. He was the sun in midnight and I was the moon in daylight. But we have something in common- he was mine and I was his. Our love story was just like others'. We didn't start with "love at first sight". Neither with "the more you hate the more you love". I was no damsel in distress to be saved by a knight in shining armor. There was just the typical "bumped into each other", the destined "meet unexpectedly at the most unusual time and place", and the fated "love game, three wishes, fixing broken souls, forget and forgive, and a love sweeter the second time around". Sounds crazy, right? Well, we're mad after all. Madly in love with each other.
