Paradigm Thrift: A Qualitative Study Exploring the Political Impact and Liberatory Potential of College Free Thrift Stores Hello, thrifters. This is my research from college about the political potential of free thrift stores at universities across the US. I created a free thrift store while I was in college and am now starting to freelance and create more stores at other colleges (hmu if you're interested for more information). I think this information is super fascinating and there is NO literature on free thrift stores (let alone their political impact). A free thrift store is a community-driven initiative where items such as clothing, books, household goods, and school supplies are donated and made available to others at no cost. Unlike traditional thrift stores, which sell items at low prices, a free thrift store operates on the principle of mutual support and sharing, with no monetary exchange involved. This initiative is very successful at small walkable colleges.

For some reason, we felt drawn to this town, even though we hadn't been there before. The name sparked something in my memory, like I'd been there before. I couldn't seem to take my mind off of it. It was a weird feeling, really. Like deja vu... ··· Based on a true story of a trip I took to Giddings, TX with my step-mom, who came up with this story plot.

Nora, her Gramma, and her older brother Finn enter a thrift store in their grandmother's town Florida, where in the heat they discover the importance of childhood, memories, and running away from old ladies after you insult them. I wrote this short story in 2017 as part of a project about identity inspired writing in Ms. Sherwoods 10th grade English class.

And when easy going Avery Smith crashes his fuckin Porsche on fuckin school property, he is sent to the principal's office and has no choice but deliver a job well done at school and a minimum of 100 community hours at his nearest non-profit organization as payment. My Generation X experience. They called us the lost generation or the whatever generation, but I know that we were much more than that. Yea, we didn't give a hoot about a lot of the things going on in the world, but we had a lot more going on than you'd think. This is just a humourous look at the decades we lived through back then. I wouldn't have wanted to have been born in any other time period. I feel super lucky to have been a part of JenX.

Mia , 18 . has been writing in a journal for a year . Filling it with her feelings and secrets . She never writes her name in the pages or anything that could reveal who she was . She brings the journal to a thrift store leaving it on a book shelf for anyone to pick up . The person to pick it up is a boy that falls in love with person in the pages but has no clue who she is in real life .

A lovely story about a confused and strange man and a lovely woman, who barely know each other, meets and is touched by the magical power of love. The story is from the 1800s but warning! You have to be a bit patient!! The book has a lot of details and descriptions ;) SPOILERALERT!! If you like to think on your own and not be given any hints DONT read the text under! But if you don't understand the first chapter, I recommend you to read it • • • • • • • • • • • • • The man has rare condition. I will not say what it is, because it will be said in one of the chapters. But he often talks to himself (or a man he think is there). In the first chapter there are no other than him in the house.

One day, you were at a Thrift Shop. You were just strolling around until something caught your attention. it was the Jewelry section. Why did it suddenly caught your attention? You didn't think much of it before heading straight to it. While you were just looking around at other jewelries, something shine on the corner of your eyes. It was a... Ring? Why did a ring suddenly caught your attention? Besides the way it glistens on the sunlight and the... Glorious blue Diamond on it. But then you noticed something, there was a Initial inside of it. It probably belonged to someone, but why would someone just sell this beautiful ring? Without hesitation, you brought it. It was just a ring. Nothing would ever happen, right? 𝘞𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘨.

When Aaron buys a "haunted" antique doll from the clearance section of the thrift store, all he's expecting is to resell it for it's actual worth... But the next morning, a bad day turns even worse as the unthinkable happens- his best friend, his beloved cat Ollie disappears. And then something strange happens. He meets a handsome man named Oliver who had obsidian hair and emerald green eyes... much like Ollie.
