You said these swing sets helped you feel free.  You swang away all your worries.  You spoke of dreams and memories.  You ignored the world, except for me.  I won't say I fell, but I certainly tripped.  My world didn't rock but it certainly tipped.  My heart didn't stop, but rather she skipped.  My ego not broken, but you know it was ripped.  I learned all those words were to get in my pants.  I'm sick of this waltz, this unfriendly dance.  Our time wasn't planned, but rather by chance.  You called it a fling, not a heavy romance.  You said these swings, they helped you reset.  They helped you forgive and they helped you forget.  So we played in the park with our charming duet.  We bruised like the music of a burning cassette.  You disappeared, you went away.  But on these swings, I like to stay.  I wonder if you'll come back one day.  I miss you and the things we'd say.
