Cooper Matthews doesn't know much about Emmett Harlow, two things aside: 1) Emmett is one of the smartest guys he's ever met, and 2) Emmett is also one of the rudest guys he's ever met. But when the pair discover that their local drive-in movie theatre, their shared favorite place on earth (and shared place of employment), is under the threat, they have two options: they can either get over themselves and work together to save it, or they can let the drive-in fall into the wrong hands. It shouldn't be too hard, right?

The story starts with Kubo, a 15-year-old high school student, and his discovery of his hidden powers after listening to a story told by his mother. This leads him to an unexpected life path; instead of accepting his powers, Kubo wishes to free himself from these powers and live an ordinary life. This leads him to face challenges and despair in a series of miserable situations.

This wicked wild world is home to a variety of anthropomorphic animals, including two 19-year-olds in particular. There's the good-sported, itchy-footed, and quick-witted Umeme Cheetah. Then there's the cocky, carefree, and foolhardy Radi O. Peregrine. The cat and bird are best buds who not only share a brotherly bond, but a need for speed as well. Hence their names (translated in Swahili) these two Immobians wield the power of electrokinesis. Pretty self-explanatory, but they're able to generate high amounts of electricity within their bodies -- allowing them to perform various tricks and techniques. The most prominent being to run -- or in the latter's case, fly -- at literal lightning speed. With it, our duo races across the vast African continent, if not beyond, in search of thrill and danger. Be it open plains, dense jungles, scorching deserts, or etc. etc. -- these sparking speedsters will certainly be there in a flash. Throughout their adventures, Umeme and Radi will come across various characters -- both friend and foe alike. With their most frequent foes being monstrous entities known as Nightmares. Created from a currently anonymous source, each kind varies from shape and size -- yet shares a common goal to wreak total chaos. While these Nightmares are determined to do so wherever they go, both cheetah and peregrine are determined to stop them in their tracks. So don't blink -- 'cuz if you ever see two streaks speed by, you can bet one hell of a storm's a brewin'.

The chase went on into an uninhabited area, shrouded by trees. Christine figured that this was a good of a place as any, no witnesses. With a mighty roar of her engine, she powered her headlights on and sped up to match Jackson's pace. The Chevelle swerved and Jackson honked the horn. Christine ignored him and began to push him off the road. Jackson sped up to avoid ditching his car, which only resulted in him being rear-ended by Christine. With Jackson struggling to regain his control over the Chevelle, Christine sped up beside him, slamming into his side. Jackson hit the ditch, his Chevelle rolling over. Not everything in Thunder and Lightning's life is a battle for life or death with the Markonians. Some things are perhaps even more important. Just as the heroes use their powers to protect the innocent, Jennifer and Anissa can use their voices to do that same. This little sisterly outing, with Grace joining her wife and sister-in-law, follows the ladies on a roadtrip of hard truths, hope for the future, bonding, and love.

Thunder is a story I just put up in the last minute. It was actually a dream or let's say imagination I had when I was a kid. He had always wanted to be strong for his family, to protect them from what had hunted her down. But this time he couldn't and he knew it. It was close. At that moment, Frank was scared that ever, seeing his brother in pain, his bloodshot eyes, his pale skin with blood tricklimg down. "It's close, Frank. Run!" He shouted.
