It is often portrayed as a bloodthirsty, killing, unforgiving and unmerciful being that is no longer human. However, this is far from the truth, never has there been a single Kuroryuu who has killed for no reason, never has there been one who harmed the innocent...even though there have only been 2 since the days of Hiryuu. The previous Kuroryuu was blamed for the death of King Hiryuu as she was the one to be with him in his final moments, she was the one who had spilled blood - but only because she was told be King Hiryuu himself to do so. But no one had the will to listen, not to the previous Kuroryuu, not to her successor, and because of this in the writings of history the kind, considerate, patient, compassionate, pacifistic, and most importantly INNOCENT Kuroryuu was placed into exile along with her successor. Over the years, more and more people knew less and less about the Kuroryuu. Leaving the once majestic and peaceful beast as nothing more than a bed time story which parents would use to get their children to behave themselves. How will the dragon blood react to the Kuroryuu? What will happen to the Kuroryuu? Why was the Kuroryuu told to kill Hiryuu? How will the Kuroryuu react to Yona? Will the Kuroryuu survive?

***Discontinued*** This is a Yona Of The Dawn, Fanfiction! I take no credit for the anime/manga, just my character, and any changes to the plot. Unless stated differently, all credit for pictures goes to rightful owners. Y/N is different from the other kids in the village. For one, she isn't allowed outside of the village and always has to wear a weird bracelet. She always felt like she was missing pieces of her, maybe people, maybe something else. What Y/N doesn't know is that the village she lives in was the original village of the Pink Dragon.

Seiryuu--soon to be called Shin-ah--couldn't have been more surprised when a boy stumbled out of nowhere in the maze-like tunnels of his village; the boy with eyes similar to Ao's, hard and dead, with a glint of cruelty that was probably forced, and, more importantly, a boy that was close to passing out from a fever. Knowing the treatment of outsiders by his people, Seiryuu takes care of the boy himself. The same day the boy, Eren, wakes up, is the day that Yona, the exiled Princess of Kouka, arrives to take Seiryuu away from the darkness to join the other dragons, and Seiryuu refuses to leave Eren at the villagers' mercy. Eren, for the first time outside the walls that protect humanity from the titans, can't help but see the wonders of Kouka as he travels. But he also sees the cruelty and darkness that Yona is just beginning to see, and accepts her request to join their merry group (despite the protests of Hak and Kija) and aid the people of Kouka. Those who speak of the mythological warriors of old, tell of the Kuroryuu being cunning, far too ambitious, and cold-blooded. They say that the Kuroryuu should never have existed in the first place. And the sad part? They are right. The Kuroryuu should never have existed.

Kurohana Itsuji is one of the legendary dragon warriors. Kuro is the black dragon, forgotten by society. Forgotten to everyone but the other dragons. It's a surprise to Kuro when she senses the white and blue dragons approaching the village where she lives, somewhere in the earth territory, but she makes no move to hide from them. The redhead princess Yona asks Kuro to come with her to find the green and yellow dragons to protect her friends, and Kuro agrees, when Yona says she can bring her little brother, Shiko. Along the journey to the locations of the other dragon warriors, Awa, Kuro unknowingly draws the attention of Shin-ah, the blue dragon. When the group finds the green dragon, she begins to see her group as friends, instead of just people to protect because a certain red haired princess told her to. Soon enough after the group is joined by Jaeha, Shin-ah realizes his feelings for Kuro, but he only tells Kija. Kija swears to help his dragon brother Shin-ah work up the courage to tell Kuro his feelings. Does Kuro have feelings towards Shin-ah too, or is she directing her cool gaze towards Jaeha or Kija instead? Read to find out! (Contains swearing)
