Emily was abused and used by her aunt and uncle, and the outer world was unaware about this fact. And Emily never even thought to reveal it, afterall she thought she was a burden and deserved all this. When her aunt and uncle, agreed to a year-marraige to a billionaire, just for the money, she stayed silent. She stayed silent when she was named and tagged as a gold-digger. She stayed silent, when she was thrown off. Never told anyone about anything she went through. She wasn't mute, but she was forced to stay silent as a punishment for a sin that she never did. She was dead inside, just smiled to give off that she was happy, but was she really? Logan was served everything on a silver platter. Whatever he asked for, appeared under his feet in seconds. When his reputation was needed to be repaired, he was needed to be seen as mature, he was needed to commit into a relationship but he wasn't ready to commit. The only solution left was a contract marriage. He never even bothered to look at his wife. He wasn't cold, he was just disgusted at the god digger, who he had to call as his wife. But he knew that he was also wrong here, hence he didn't call her "gold digger" again. Will this contract turn into something more? He knew that if they fell for each other, then he would be her first, but he wanted more. He wanted to be her last too, just like she wished and hoped, she also wanted to be his last...
