(Y/N) is a Light Dragon slayer who joined FT when she was 12 years old. She and Laxus were friends growing up and she later joined the Thunder Legion. Now she's 22 and is still trying to see her old friend in the new, cold Laxus Dreyar. This is going to be a better and X reader version of the shitty fanfic I wrote when I was 14, you can still read that story although it is incomplete. I could be convinced to complete that one as well, even though it is in fact garbage. Disclaimer: I don't like making over powered characters, and although she's a Light Dragon Slayer she typically uses just regular Light magic. I do not own FairyTail or any character mentioned in the story unless stated otherwise.

The king sends his strongest knight, Laxus to finish the job. But Laxus ends up growing closer to Freed than he expected. My fanfiction is based on fanart (the book cover) created by the amazingly talented @fairiesherefairiesthere on Tumblr which you can check out here. I have been wanting to write something like this but didn't know where to start but her piece gave me the inspiration that I needed. I am really proud of how it came out (although there are other things I would have added in if I had the time). Regardless, I hope y'all enjoy this.
