Melanie and Cameron decide to spend their day at the Metropolitan museum. On their way, they meet their uncle Chris, who kindly offers to take them to the museum by his car, but he turned out to be a fake uncle, to tried to take them to a completely different place! The kids manage to escape and stumble into the museum, where they meet Imhotep, an Egyptian cat who says he is from the past and needs help to get home to his own time. Melanie and Cameron agree to help-even if that means that they time travel to different times! Imhotep gives Cameron and Melanie each an ankh. This ankh will transport them to different times and places and change their outfit. Imhotep changes too! In mastodon times, for example, Imhotep becomes a saber tooth tiger. Fake uncle is actually a time traveler from the past, he's really their great-great grandpa, Horatio, and wants to use the ankhs to stop the time rift. Imhotep wants to get home. The kids figure out the time rift and close it and send everyone home. But they lose the anchors and Imhotep forever. Hi everyone! This is a historical fiction, adventure, fun time-travelling story! Lots of the illustrations used are from the 'Kids in the Museum' collection on the 'Paint by Number' app on @misto125's iPad that she was really into during the pandemic where she had to stay at home. Thunder in the Sky Book #1 Ben and Elly are visiting their Uncle Abraham in the mountains to see their cousins Beth and Daniel. But something is wrong with their cousins- they both got terrible illnesses! Ben and Elly go into the mountains to find out what made them ill and make new friends.

Ben and Elly went to New Orleans with their parents for Halloween, and stayed in a spooky house. There, they meet Hook, a young corpse obsessed with Coco Chanel. She leads them to Ghost town, a spooky New Orleans town just for ghosts. The twins meet Hook's friends, Jib, Jab, and Lily D' Inky, and famous ghosts such as Marie Laveau and Baron Samedi. They soon meet a vampire called Jacques Saint Germain, who takes them on a wonderful tour around New Orleans, but they soon find out their friend has an evil side.

Thunder in the Sky #2 Ben and Elly are at the Autumn Carnival with their cousin, Samantha, and they run into a lizard wearing a wizard outfit. The lizard says he is 'Willard the Wizard Lizard', and take them to a place nobody has ever heard of: "The Age of Legends"! The trio meet magical animals and wizards, and use their help to defeat Willard and go back to where they belong.

Ben and Elly are back again in New Orleans for Halloween. They see their dead friends and decide to go to the Toy Festival with them. There, they find their own toys that match their personality... however, they realized the vampire there is up to no good. The toys come to life with the vampire's magic and help to defeat him.
