We have seen the JGSDF in GATE. We also heard of JMSDF in GATE too (except no one's doing the translation) but how about the JASDF? We watched the anime, and we've seen few scenes where aircrafts of JASDF made appearance but never the whole branch. As for me, the author of GATE: The New Frontier, I've decided to shift focus to this new story. I hope this story would get much readers as The New Frontier did. btw tnf has ended. It is 1951, China is rebuilding after the Japanese invasion of World War II and the Chinese communist of the Chinese Civil War. Now, a Gate opens up and China is attacked and dragged into another conflict that could be bloody and attract more hostile rivals. In modern-day Japan, a structure known as a Gate, connecting between worlds apart, had mysteriously appeared within the Ginza District. Bringing forth would-be conquerors, and throwing the heart of the nation into brief chaos. Leaving behind death, destruction, and enslavement in it's awakening. And caught in the middle of it, were Lt. Yoji Itami of the JGDF, and Lt. Vincent Ramos of the USMC; dragged into a War where Fantasy meets Modernity- a clash between the old and new, of stagnation and innovation. Little did they both know how much everything will change upon the opening of the Gate.

This story is discontinued, waiting for its re-write version but hey. You can read it if you want, nobody's forcing you. Especially the ending of the final chapter. I really love it. 2037, another usual year. On a normal day, in the afternoon in New York City, a weird shaped building that resembles a gate opens in the middle of the city. Suddenly, a medieval army with 30,000 soldiers that looks quite familiar with the Roman Empire bursts out from the GATE and cause chaos. What will happen next? What is this GATE?
