Tidbits Stories

Some things are best read in short bursts, like little snacks in the middle of a busy day. While you're busy feeding your body, I want to help fuel your mind and imagination.

No context or meanings, just words rhyming from broken verses and phrased crumbs known as tidbits.. Sneak peek of my entangled chaos of writings, rants, short stories and dreary imagination..

[DISCONTINUED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE] 'The crisp of yesterday thoughts eventually burrowed inside thy hollow mind.' Disoriented, Arno struggles to find 'paradise.' A lonesome voice from a crystal he previously had found burried-shivering inside its dense shell-repeating the phrases; 'Open one's heart, Guided by the light, Shall reach the welcoming hearth, He who follows the path..' In a decimated world he now walks in, he shall now traverse through the darkest plains of burnt civilizations, through the highest peaks of the mountains of ashes, through the deep waters of oceans and oceans of disappointments, and through the sordid past of the old Arno he used to know.

Life is filled with many moments that can inspire. As a college student who enjoys reading and writing, setting time aside just to slow down and let my ideas flow on paper can be quite the chore. But I have grown accustomed to a particular writing style. That's where this collection of works come in. In my earlier years, I was given a writing assignment where I had to write an excerpt of a original novel. In other words, writing parts of a story and/or exploring the setting without prior context or a true resolution. I forget what this is called specifically, but for the sake of it I'm just going to call it a "tidbit". The bits in this collection can be expanded into short stories or an actual novel in the future, but that's if only the work itself is worthy to be expanded on (or if I can sit down and genuinely put in some solid effort into it). Hope you enjoy!
