However, his life is soon to be changed forever, for better or worse. After receiving a message from the Jade Palace itself, he is dragged into possibly playing a part in an ancient prophecy. Hunter is hired by Master Shifu to track down the mystical 'Heir of China' who is rumoured to be able to bring stability during these dark days of uncertainty and strife. Will this just be another job? Or will Hunter find something more valuable than gold coins on this journey? Will his mysterious past be revealed? And what exactly is the price of true happiness?

When he joins a random kung fu tournament, news about him spreads quickly. When he's dragged to the Jade Palace by a certain someone, he's offered to train under Master Shifu. Taking the chance, he begins to adapt to this new lifestyle and builds strong relationships with each member. One in particular. A certain orange feline. However, as he experiences the good and new things, his past begins to come back to him. Including an ex he moved on from and an old friend. But evil slowly lurks in the shadows and waits for its time to strike.
