You know, anything more exciting than watering plants in his grandmother's garden. But by that, he didn't mean getting roped into a quest by a Kapre to retrieve a certain Emberstone. Now, he needs to go toe-on-toe with our mischievous thief the Tikbalang (they're real!).

Jugo Garcia is a kid who always stood out from the rest in more ways than one. He didn't like being called out on it though. Being tall for someone his age and a person of lacking mental stability tends to attract unwanted attention. But it turns out the world is bigger in more ways than what we know, and he's a part of it. Whether he likes it or not.

This is a story of a human who accidentally ventured into the realm of the enchanted creatures of our folk stories. No, he is not a half-blood. No, he is not needed to save their realm. This is not that kind of story. This is a story about making choices, and what it is like to see the unseen and live with them. This is actually my take on our story as human beings from the unseen's perspective. Welcome to Thera! This will also explore the nearly forgotten history of precolonnial Philippine mythology and folklore, and a brave take on the Philippine pantheon, but in a more modernized setting.
