In Maynilad, fear is not a feeling. It is a rule. The city lives in layers-light above, silence below-and in the silence, people speak of things that should not exist. They call them Elementals. And no one questions what happens when they appear. Amari stopped questioning a long time ago. At fourteen, she saw something in the dark that never left her memory. Something that should not have looked back at her the way it did. Years later, she enters Bantay Dilim-a classified task force that operates where normal law cannot reach. Trained in Arnis, discipline, and silence, she becomes part of operations that move only when something must disappear. But some missions don't behave like missions. Some reports don't match what the eyes see. And some shadows feel too aware to be empty. The deeper she goes, the more the city stops feeling like a place-and starts feeling like something watching in stillness. AMARI: BANTAY DILIM is a dark cinematic urban fantasy about grief, control, and the thin line between what is feared... and what is real.

Four friends who created a band called Alab drifted apart after a devastating fall out just before they finished highschool. Ten years later, circumstances brought them back together as adults, giving them the opportunity to rekindle old relationships and tie up loose ends. This story revolves around the town of Morganfield, which replaced what used to be the sacred mountain of Makiling. Made into a US military base in 1990, it was named after General Charles Morgan when the Philippines became an unincorporated and organized US territory across the Pacific Ocean. This will also explore the nearly forgotten history of precolonnial Philippine mythology and folklore, and a brave take on the Philippine pantheon, but in a more modernized setting. As this is a work in progress, expect some changes along the way (like this temporary cover photo) But for now, let's see how this one goes. Please let me know what you think! I'd like this writing experience to be as interactive as possible. Thank you!

Growing up, we all heard stories from our grandparents about magical creatures like elves, giants, witches, etc., and their magical world. We even believed them to be real during our childhood but as we grew up and think maturely, these stories were nothing but stupid lies and imagination invented by our elders to make us obey the things they were trying us to do. We then became non-believers! But what if one day, you wake up being in that magical place? What if you were really destined to be in there? What if the life you lived was not yours to start? What if the truth you've been believing your whole life became the biggest lie? What if your life is not what you think it is? Would you be willing to accept your fate? Or run away from it? Read "The Guardian" and follow the non-believer Camilla on her journey as she discovers the truth about her existence and the destiny that awaits her.
