Lucy Chen, a gorgeous, young, kind ER nurse, with an overbearing, yet loving family, has been single for years, never thinking she needed someone or wanted someone. She's had a few short-term relationships since high school, but she never felt that spark with any of them. Her family has been trying to set her up since she was 20, but every single date never had a sequel. As the youngest of 5 kids, she had always been behind her older siblings; Aria, Tyler, Rose and Reese, but all her siblings were at least engaged by 28, but Lucy is 27 and never even had a serious relationship. Her parents, Vanessa and Patrick Chen, have always told her that when she finds "the one," she would know. He recently got divorced from his wife, Isabel after she got addicted to drugs, and his best friend, Angela Lopez, has been trying to set him up again. During Tim's marriage, he hated everything about it, not because she was controlling, not because she cheated, not because he and Isabel argued constantly, all though the latter two were true, its because he never truly loved her. The only good thing Tim got from his marriage was his son, Oliver, who he got full custody of when the divorce was final. Tim has avoided dating since the divorce, not wanting to make Ollie think he was replacing his mother. Even if Isabel was a horrible person, she was still the mother of his child. But when Tim meets Lucy Chen at his friend Bailey's birthday party and actually feels... something, he decided to ask her out on a date. Despite feeling something, Tim doesn't expect their relationship to go anywhere, so he doesn't tell Lucy about Ollie. But over time, Tim realises he's falling for her...hard. Short story's -what ifs-

Tim and Lucy have a strong hatred for each other. But, when Lucy has no place to live, Nyla recommends she go with Tim. Will she take the chance or will she find somewhere else? This is happening in a different AU, so I may have other rookie characters as different couples, so don't come at me👌 This series is about how Tim and Lucy go from enemies, to friends, to lovers. A little background: Lucy is currently a P2 but studying to become a U.C and a detective. Tim is still a T.O (P3) currently training Officer Kate Barnes. Aaron is a P3 currently Study to become a member of SWAT. Angela is a detective coming having leaves another previous station Grey is a watch commander/ sergeant And Jackson is a P2 Ever since day 1, Lucy has hated Tim. For how he treats her, how he always yells at her, etc. Sorry these parts are short. I'll make it up by releasing daily parts, I plan on making this a long term story until I decide to end it.
