This plays out in season 2-3 after Lucy was kidnapped by Caleb. Lucy has been struggling a lot with mental health since the kidnapping, and has nightmares all the time. She often has panic attacks as well, especially after a long day at work. No one knows that Lucy's struggling. She's to scared that she'll get judged if she tells anyone so she just keeps it too herself. But when the nightmares starts to get worse and her panic attacks come more frequently which drains her.
