Every time he sees her in these dreams she always drags him off to a little tea party set up on a small table that is surrounded by large colorful flowers of a garden as talking animals partake in the tea party and in every one before he wakes up from these strange but wonderful dreams she places a small kiss to his cheek before his eyes snap open. When bringing these dreams up to adults around him as a boy about this mysterious girl he sees in a strange land was dismissed by saying he's having weird dreams and they'll soon go away as he grows up. But they never did, and as he grows up to be a young man in England, his mind being plagued by visions of the strange beautiful girl especially so when after he runs after a white rabbit far away from his surprise engagement party he accidentally falls down a rabbit hole, and returns to Wonderland. Emily Van Dort had always felt different. Her parents were always looked at weirdly, nobody liked her in school for being free spirited, and worst of all, her grandparents were now forcing her to find someone to marry. Outraged, Emily runs away into the forest where she finds something she had not expected to see. She finds herself in the land of the dead! Her father used to tell her the story of how he met the corpse bride that gave Emily her name, and although common sense told her it was nonsense, she still believed him regardless. But being in the actual setting of his story was a little too overwhelming, and yet why does she find herself at home down here as her parents look for her in the land above? Now Emily must make a choice, to stay in the place where the dead welcome and accept her, or return to life and all its unfortunate circumstances. She must decide for herself....before something darker makes that decision for her against her will.

Alice has returned to wonderland her memory slowly returning to her of how this dark land used to be. The fate of Alice is her own but will old romance prevail or will Alice lose all sight of wonder in this land.
