Alone for a hundred years, Charlotte taught herself how to fly her Tardis and attempt to get back to her family, hoping that maybe, just maybe, she could save them or at the very least, die with them. However, by the time she manages to figure out how to fly her ship, the Time War is long over and she's left on Earth with no possible way of ever getting back to her planet and with the sad reality that she's stranded alone forever. Of course, alone is what she would be had she not met the Doctor and his companion, Rose Tyler.

I have thought for a long time about one of my teachers; let's call her Mrs Smith. She teaches our Medieval History class. The way she tells us history is like a story. She's funny, creative, and her 'stories' make it sound as if she was there when the history happened. Another thing about her is that I have never seen her wear the same outfit more than once, and her hair is a very pretty curly-frizzy brown-blonde mix. Also, Mrs Smith always carries this tote bag around for class. The bottom of the bag is about 6 inches wide and 12 inches long. Once she walked into our classroom and nothing about her or her bag seemed out of place. Her bag had no bulges and had nothing poking out of the top. As the bell rang, she reached into the bag and pulled out a giant book, a notebook, markers, and a giant ziplock bag of markers, crayons, and colored pencils. Then she pulled out a travel mug, a giant bag of peanut m&ms, and another notebook. Her bag is bigger on the inside. She's a time lady.
