That is until Tabitha tells the story of her own assault, the details of which sound eerily familiar to Cara. Realizing they have much more in common than simply sharing a support group, the two of them work together to pick up the pieces of their shattered pasts. But when another girl comes forward with a similar story, they decide picking up the pieces just isn't enough. Inspired by the "Me Too" and "Times Up" movement. Why have we a society swept sexual assault under the rug as if it is a normal thing that happens in the daily life? Why do we Women have to worry about not being paid as much as our male coworkers? We must end the silence and raise awareness. In my way of helping I will be writing poems and statements to help spread the word of the whole movement.
