I never really hated Timothée.
Okay, maybe I did.
We had been neighbors since we were six. Our parents were best friends, we grew up together, and we even had matching nicknames from our childhood obsession with Mario.
He was Mario.
I was Mrs. Peach.
But that didn't mean we liked each other.
Especially not when my childhood crush, Mason Thames, was also our neighbor-and Timothée's best friend.
Then, ten years ago, both boys moved away.
And I moved on.
I have a boyfriend now. Austin is sweet, funny, and everything I could ever want.
At least, that's what I thought.
Until Timothée and Mason suddenly come back.
Mason is still the sweet boy I remember.
Timothée is still the most annoying person I've ever met.
But ten years is a long time.
People change.
Feelings change.
And sometimes, the person you've spent your whole life hating is the person who knows you better than anyone.
"We meet again, Mrs. Peach."
"Shut up, Mario."
