Growing up without a father was hard but having cancer was the worst part of Alexis' childhood. She's found the one man who she has spent her entire childhood dreaming about. The one man she wanted to look up to. Alexis graduated at age seventeen and is going to MIT once she graduated MIT she went straight to the marines just like her father. It's almost a normal day on NCIS. Only Ziva isn't there. The rest of the team is investigating a murder of a marine officer and his wife. But when Tony got a message he is gone and even the Leroy Jethro Gibbs, who knows everyting, doesn't know where Anthony is. So with that she packs up, after resigning from NCIS and to accept a job at the 21st precinct, and in the intelligence unit. This is the third book in the What Really Happens: NCIS Series. The endless ring is supposed to represent endless love. What if that love was interrupted by more than what any person can handle?
