Newt has just thwarted Grindelwald with the help of his new friends. Triumphant and determined to finish his much needed book, he decides to head back home to Britain. But New York isn't done with him yet... When magical creatures start turning up injured or dead, Newt won't rest until he finds the person responsible. But evil may be lurking in unexpected places...

Newt Scamander has been working as part of the Ministry of Magic under to department for the control of magical beasts. There is also a new Auror that is part of the ministry, Harry Potter. Harry has been on a trail of destruction and dark magic. Newt has heard about the reports and knows that only an Obscurial would cause such massive destruction and leave dark magic behind. Both the wizards are concerned about one thing: the exposure of their world. What the two don't know is how close they're jobs are related when it comes to tracking an obscurial. The two wizards head out with their friends to find the obscurial and get it under control. They are however unaware of the danger from another wizard who doesn't care what happens to them and will do what he can to sidetrack the group from stopping the obscurial. N/A: I'm aware that the two wouldn't actually meet but for the sake of this its a fanfiction for a reason so there will be time lapses and spoilers from Fantastic Beasts.

This story isn't actually from the third Fantastic Beasts film, it's merely what I think the plot might be like. It's got some Newtina slow burn, the relationship between Jacob and Queenie and Grindelwald's rise in Rio de Janeiro as well as many other characters' stories in between.
