The fifth official installment of the MNL48 - Manuel Novicio Lacuesta University high school series, it is an LGBT-centered romance story based on the best-selling Thai Boys Love novels written by Jittinat Ngamnak (JittiRain) and Ploy Ploibusara Phattarapornpisit (BitterSweet) adapted into drama series starring Vachirawit Chiva-aree (Bright), Metawin Opas-iamjakorn (Win), Perawat Sangpotirat (Krist) and Prachaya Ruangroj (Singto). It is the series' first male-led installment and features two stories in a converging timeline. Rather than taking place in college like most BL novels, the story is set in a high school environment and discusses present-day issues common to LGBT societies in the Philippines. Ang tanging hiling lang naman ni Malaya Tine Arevalo ay ang simpleng umagahan kasama ang buong pamilya kagaya ng dati pero, hindi niya inakala na no'ng dumating ang araw na 'yon, ay iyon na rin pala ang huling beses na magkakasama-sama sila sa hapag. If she could describe her situation right now it would be hell. With all that happened, she just found herself saving her friends from themselves. She wants them to be free. With Malaya, they found comfort. Nandyan siya palagi para itahan sila pero.. sino naman ang magta-tahan sa kanya? Then.. she concluded that, the only person that could set her free is no one but.. herself.
