One night, after barely surviving the worst beating you've ever had to endure, you decide upon the unthinkable. You haul your nearly lifeless body to your three story window. You pull yourself onto the ledge and right as you step off, you feel a grip on your nightgown. Suddenly, you're being dragged back in through your bedroom window. Fear hits you as you think it's your father, and that you've gotten caught. Hot tears stain your cheeks as you wait for the inevitable. But it's not your father you are greeted by. It's none other than the boy you haven't seen since you were young. Your long lost bestfriend. The one you had once convinced yourself was imaginary. The one who just saved your near worthless life. Peter Pan. And based upon the tears in his eyes, he remembers you. And based upon the sad smile he's giving you, he knows why you tried to do it. That's when the thought pops into your head. Maybe he can take you away. ••• (So I absolutely love Peter Pan. He's my favorite Disney character ever. This story, obviously, doesn't follow the plot to the movie at all. But I hope you enjoy it! Also, I describe Peter the way he is in the original movie, not the way he is in OUAT.)

He'd always had a penchant for bringing home stray animals. Much to his parents dismay, he'd often nursed birds or rabbits back to health that he found in the forest surrounding their house. This time however, he had truly outdone himself. It was a good thing he was his own Elf now, with his own house and workshop to command he thought, hauling the unconscious Moonshadow elf on his workshop table. Sunfire!Ethari finds an injured Moonshadow elf near his home and decides to rescue him, unknowing of the consequences that might come with being owed a life dept. This is canon divergent (Ethari is a Sunfire Elf) and will only loosely follow the actual series. TW: mentions of injuries and death advised audience: teen and up
