In the year 835, giving birth to a set of twins was taboo, nonetheless common. However, on April 7th, 835, a pair of twins was born inside Trost District. To adults, twins meant nothing but an extra diaper to change, and more money to spend. Cecil Kirstein, twin sister of Jean Kirstein, had always lived in the shadow of what her mother saw as the greatest son ever conceived. She was neglected and emotionally abused by her mother, due to this ongoing hatred of Cecil ever being born. Cecil's unpleasant upbringing sparked a mentality within Cecil to never trust herself: being useless and invaluable to those around her is all she was good for. This inferiority complex caused her to place endless and insurmountable trust in her friends, for she saw them all as more than capable beings of achieving the impossible. Her admiration for all of her friends did nothing but increase her already skyrocketing insecurities about her own abilities. Cecil, at a young age, had a change of heart regarding her path in life. She wanted to see for herself if she was truly strong and worthy, or if her mother was right all along. To prove this to herself and everyone around her, she decided to train for the Scout Regiment, and become humanity's next strongest soldier. The story, from the same world as Militsioner, revolves around a person named Sergei, who has lost most of his memory. He wakes up in a quiet rural town. He has a sentence to live here and not leave the town until further notice. He is under constant surveillance by the Militsionerka (the policewoman in Russian) in case he tries to escape. But he discovers that there are terrifying, mysterious events happening without explanation, and now he has to try to survive and find out what is happening in this town.
