Whumpee oneshots of one of my favorite Titanic Officers, Fifth Officer Harold Lowe. Good luck reading this. DISCLAIMER: THIS IS ONLY BASED OFF OF JAMES CAMERON'S 1997 TITANIC CHARACTERS AND NOT REAL PEOPLE. I DO NOT HAVE THE INTENTION OF BEING INSULTING TOWARDS THEM OR THE SHIP HERSELF. I owe my thanks to Inger Sheil's biography: Titanic Valour, The Life of Fifth Officer Harold Lowe for historical accuracy and newly found information of this guy.

'The sun is leaving its orbit, and everything is already falling apart.' It's 1917, and President Woodrow Wilson has asked Congress to declare war on Germany following Germany's unrestricted submarine warfare and the sinking of the Lusitania. When Jack is conscripted into the war and ordered to train at Camp Fremont in California, the Dawson family must navigate taking him to the train station and beginning a life without him. Rose, their children Josephine, Henry, and Arthur, Jack's sister Elodie, Elodie's girlfriend April, and their daughter Caroline all have each other to rely on. But with Jack gone, the family is left struggling to find its balance again, because no matter how many of them remain, his absence feels like the sun leaving its orbit.

The complete history of one of mankind's greatest engineering achievements, RMS Titanic. RMS (Royal Mail Steamer) Titanic was a British ocean liner owned and operated by the White Star Line. Titanic began her life at Harland & Wolff shipyard in the town of Belfast, Ireland. She began her maiden voyage on April 10th 1912, departing from the town of Southampton in the southern part of the United Kingdom. Following stops in Cherbourg, France, and Queenstown (now Cobh) in Ireland, Titanic and her 2,226 passengers and crew headed west towards America. Just before midnight on April 14th 1912, Titanic struck a massive iceberg, damaging six of her sixteen watertight compartments. At 2:20 am on April 15th 1912, Titanic broke into four pieces and sank to the bottom of the North Atlantic. Of the 2,226 souls aboard, 712 were saved. An estimated 1,514 people lost their lives. On September 1st 1985, Oceanographer Robert Ballard discovered the wreckage of Titanic 2 1/2 miles (12,500 feet or 3,800 meters) beneath the surface of the North Atlantic. Note: In this story, I write about Titanic as if she were a living being, even if she isn't actually alive. I and the people refer to her as "she" or "her". I have also added conversations into the story. I made them based on what I think the people would've said and to help make the story more realistic instead of it just being an information dump. A lot of the information in later chapters comes from A Night to Remember (Both book and movie) as well as Titanic (1997), and my own research. The majority of this book is factual, while some parts are fictional or dramatizations. This book is dedicated to the 1,514 men, women, and children who lost their lives aboard Titanic, and the 712 people that survived.

It's April, 1912. Mr. Charles "Charlie" Francis Spring, a humble and hard working young man who is nearing his 19th birthday, is about to embark on a journey onboard the R.M.S. Titanic with his group of friends who all look for a better life in America. Charlie, Tao, and Issac head to the new world carrying little, aside from Issac who couldn't seem to bring enough books with him. His older sister Tori is joining them as well. Charlie's excited to see the new world, but more so to begin anew now that his turbulent childhood was behind him. It was a second chance, a new beginning. On the other side of the English Channel in France, Mr. Nicholas "Nick" Luke Nelson and his mother, along with their dog Nellie, prepare for a holiday to the United States, and they can't possibly wait any longer to tour New York for the first time. Nick had been looking forward to this for months as he viewed it as a long break from his life of assisting his father and older brother with the family business, taking no real interest in it. Having the opportunity to leave it all behind for nearly a month and tour New York City, with two Atlantic crossings surrounding the holiday seemed like the journey of a lifetime for him. It was only more exciting due to the fact that they'd be sailing to New York on the Titanic, the largest and grandest ship in the world. Both Mr. Nelson and Mr. Spring could not wait to see what the future had in store for them. They just had no idea... All characters belong to Alice Oseman, author of the Heartstopper series Warning: Some Strong Language in Some Chapters Images are from Titanic Voyage RPG This story is also available on AO3 under the same name(though it is currently in progress)

They called her unsinkable. The grandest ship ever built. A floating palace for the richest men on earth. But beneath the chandeliers, a coal fire smoldered for weeks. In the radio room, detailed ice warnings sat unread under piles of passenger messages about eggs. And in the crow's nest, the binoculars were locked away because of a forgotten key. On April 14, 1912, the unsinkable met the unforgiving. As the ship broke apart, the world watched 1,500 souls plunge into the freezing Atlantic. For twenty agonizing minutes, the sea was filled with screams. Then, the silence. The lifeboats were half empty. The rescue ship was miles away. The Californian slept on. This is the definitive, 900,000-character chronicle of every mistake, every hidden truth, and every beating heart that went down with her. The millionaire and the stoker bled the same. The only thing that mattered was how they loved. Are you ready to listen to the silence?
