She has a feeling the duchess blames her for his death, and plans to get rid of her and the working-contract she forged with her son. But who would even care for her disappearance? A series of unfortunate events lead up to Lillian and Dorothy meeting in peculiar conditions and them developing a special bond. Next to the pressure of Society and the constant danger that threatens Dorothy's life, what more could go wrong?
