The Ninjago Ninja have left New Ninjago City. After Zane sacrificed himself to save everyone from The Overlord, The ninja moved deep into the Birchwood forest, birthplace of Zane Julien, and left P.I.X.A.L and Cyrus behind. Their survival skills are put to the test and then they find something quiet interesting... Who or what is it? Will the ninja be able to survive? Will the Overlord come back for revenge?

Y/n L/n is a kindergarten teacher in the small village of Ignacia, destined to live and die in the same place as her parents, and their parents before them. She's uninspired, lonely and stuck. Zane Julien presents her with an opportunity she can't refuse - the chance for adventure, the spark she needs for the book she's struggling to write, and the desirable company of having a family again.
