Cyrus Goodman and TJ Kippen are close friends. Cyrus has a secret admiration for his friend, though, and no one, not even his best friends, know about it. Cyrus wants to tell him, but he's afraid it will ruin their friendship. He tries to keep it on the low until he finds out about a new friend TJ has, and realizes how close TJ and that friend are. If only he knew how TJ felt about him.

"So, is dancing with danger still on your bucket list?" TJ Kippen is your stereotypical bad boy. He wears a little too much hair gel, rides his motorcycle through downtown Shadyside at three in the morning, and hangs out with the wrong crowd. To add onto his less-than-perfect record, TJ's recently been released from juvenile detention. Now, he's being thrown back into the outside world over at Jefferson High School. Cyrus Goodman is your stereotypical boy-next-door. He's got the best friend group on Earth, manages perfect grades in all of his classes, and helps run Shadyside's downtown coffee shop. What happens when Cyrus the nerdy boy gets asked by TJ to be his tutor and makes a ultimatum to be his fake boyfriend. Will they stay only fake boyfriends? Or will Cyrus finally end up with the basketball jock who thinks he's straight?

Cyrus Goodman is an odd little human indeed, and yet for some reason TJ Kippen feels drawn to him with an overwhelming desire to protect him. If only Cyrus's best friend, Buffy Driscoll, wasn't trying to kill TJ.

they were the two people everyone thought least likely to be captivated with each other.

the oxygen has been out for eight years. cause? deforestation. cyrus goodman and his friends have varied opinions on the problem, some worrying and some not thinking much about it. cyrus was one of the ones who didn't care as much. he had been openly gay for a long time now, knowing that he may not get a first kiss because there's a mask in the way makes him contemplate his past. he may have only been six when people put on masks, but he could've took a chance to have his kiss before it. but is that what he wanted? valentine's day is on jefferson high's doorstep. but to cyrus, he gets ready for another pointless day. the masks can change carbon dioxide back into oxygen, making people able to breathe on one breath. their last breath.

Cyrus Goodman has just become friends with the retired bully; Amber Brown. Since she won't get along with any of his other friends: Andi, Buffy and Jonah he decides to introduce her to TJ. Things end up going really well, maybe a little too well when Amber asks Cyrus if TJ is single and Cyrus becomes jealous... Can he get to TJ before Amber does or should he just let them be?
