Although The Rise of Skywalker has brilliant moments, it has never sat right with me. In this rewrite I am using elements from TROS such as locations and specific events but redirecting the entire plot and characters. This fic will be Reylo heavy with them together for the majority of the story. I want to keep this story as realistic to the star wars cannon as possible so there will be tons of romance/tension but no smut. After escaping earth and joining the first order as Kylo Ren's apprentice you begin to feel attracted to your brooding master in a way you've never been before. Your only problem... he feels it to. Kylo felt the pull to the light. Stronger than ever, but he allowed it. It felt so good, but something was still wrong. Rey was filled with so many emotions. She wants Ben, not kylo. She almost had him. He was there. She fought with Ben, not Kylo. Leia could feel the light and dark in the both of them. She always knew there was good in Ben, and she still hasn't lost hope, and never will. Finn was angry and sad. He wanted to save the resistance. He was so close, but Rose stopped him, almost taking her own life. Poe was filled with hope. They might have lost almost the entire Resistance, but they saved the galaxy in the process. Yoda? Yoda doesn't even care anymore. He's fed up with everything, so he's just gonna sit back, relax and watch the galaxy fall apart. This war is just beginning.

What if we erase time? What if Rey was a different person? What if she made different choices? What if her parents really were out there?

Y/N became an orphan in the resistance base only to learn there was a flight and medcanic school to learn how to be prepare for there furture of being in the Resistance. Poe has been a teacher for awhile as there been peace in the galaxy until he was pulled out for a dangerous mission.
