Sir Topham Hatt has opened new lead mines near Knapford Yards, and all the engines are eager to see them! But when Thomas, the only engine available for Gordon's express, decides to explore the mines, he ignores a danger sign and plunges into a deep hole. "Oh no, I've sunk..." he exclaims.
